Dr. Al-Adba graduated from Irish Royal College of surgeons in 1993, following which he completed fellowship training in clinical medicine, gastroenterology, hepatology and interventional Endoscopy at the University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
He then received his fellowship from Canadian royal college of physicians and Surgeons. He had 6 months of fellowship in clinical nutrition and 6 months of fellowship in therapeutic endoscopy at the University of Toronto.
He worked as consultant gastroenterologist at Hamad General Hospital for 5 years, the last 2 years of which he was appointed as assistant professor in clinical medicine at Weil Cornel medical College prior to joining Al-Ahli Hospital.
He joined Al-Ahli Hospital as a consultant gastroenterologist starting from may 2008 until now.
He has special interest in inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease and interventional endoscopy.
