Al Ahli Heart Care Centre is part of Al Ahli Hospital which specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Cardiovascular Diseases. We provide services in both non-invasive and interventional Cardiology and as well as Cardiac Surgery.

Al Ahli Heart Care Centre is on the second floor of the main building (Block A) of Al Ahli Hospital. As you exit the main lifts from the lobby turn left and follow the signs to the clinic. Alternatively ask the staff at the Information Desk in the Main Entrance Lobby and they will be happy to offer you directions.

The reception staffs of Al Ahli Heart Care Centre are available Sunday to Thursday from 8:00am to 8:00pm and Saturdays from 8:00am to 5:00pm. You can make an appointment in person or by dialing the following numbers:

Although it is preferable to schedule an appointment in advance you can still come directly to the centre if you feel that your condition requires prompt medical attention. A Cardiologist will do his best to see you during the course of the day. However there maybe some delay depending upon the schedule of guests with prior appointments and the urgency of your condition.

Please arrive fifteen (15) minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. This will allow time to process your registration formalities and papers if you are under insurance. You must bring your Qatar local residence identification card, insurance card and a medical referral if you have one. Also bring copies of your previous Medical Reports and investigations pertinent to your medical condition.

Come immediately to the Emergency Department which is open 24hours a day. You will be immediately attended to by the Emergency Room staff. Depending on your medical condition, you may be initially assessed in the 'Chest Pain Unit', which is a special section of the Emergency Room dedicated for cardiac emergencies. There, you will be investigated and treated for any cardiac related emergencies during which you will closely monitored by the Emergency Room Specialized staff / Specialist Cardiologist.

The Center is run by a team of highly experienced European qualified Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgical and Cardiac Anesthesia Consultants and highly-trained Cardiology / Cardiothoracic Specialists. The Centre is also staffed with a diverse team of ECG / Echocardiography Technicians, Critical Care Nurses, Clinic Nurses and General Cardiac Nurses who are all well qualified and have a vast experience internationally. We also have a specialized dedicated team of nurses and technicians in our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory as well as physiotherapists, respiratory therapists and a perfusionist for open heart surgeries. You may have full confidence in all members of our team who are committed to providing you care that is focused on love and excellence.

All guests requiring admission for cardiac related conditions will be admitted to the Cardiac Ward. Guests requiring acute, urgent or emergency management will be admitted to our specialized Coronary / Intensive Care Unit (CCU) a five (5) bedded continuously monitored unit. All in-house units are staffed around the clock by dedicated qualified nursing staff with the support of a Cardiology / Cardiothoracic Surgical Specialist doctor 24 hours a day. The Cardiac Catheterization Suite is equipped with advanced state-of-the-art Digital Cardiac Catheterization Angiography equipment. Diagnostic Coronary Angiography, Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty with stenting, Peripheral Vascular Interventions and temporary or permanent Pacemaker Implantations can be undertaken in this unit. The cardiac surgical theatre is a state-of-the art operating room of international standard and with the latest technology equipment. There is a cardiac surgical intensive care unit and a step-down unit, all equipped with cutting-edge technology equipment for advanced cardiac monitoring.

All members of our team at Al Ahli Heart Care Centre care are committed to provide you the most up to date treatment available delivered with love and excellence. The nature of your condition and the various treatment options available will be discussed with you. After treating the acute problem (curative) you will receive advice and education about the prevention of Cardiovascular Diseases such as the beneficial effects of a healthy diet, regular moderate exercise, losing weight, quitting smoking, controlling diabetes and hypertension.

As a guest of Al Ahli Heart Care Centre we provide you with detailed information about your condition and treatment. Please speak with the receptionist who will assist you in the procedure of obtaining the documents you require. Typically it will take one working day to process your request for copies of tests and one to two days for the Cardiologist to prepare your medical report.

We are planning to set up a Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit to assist in the recovery and rehabilitation of Cardiac Guests with different ailments such as Heart Failure, Post Coronary Heart attacks and Cardiac Surgeries, etc. Ultimately we may provide a wider range of procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Suite such as Implantation of AICD's, Triple Cardiac chamber Pacing (Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy), Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA) of Arrythmias, etc. and Endovascular treatment of Peripheral Arteries of the body (Carotids, etc..).
