To ensure the safety and increase success rates in corneal transplantation, Al Ahli Hospital has introduced an automated special device to analyze the quality of the sensitive tissue, especially when it comes from the far-away countries like the US and Europe.  

A sophisticated digitalized specular microscope now ensures an accurate tissue assessment prior to the surgical procedure, which is commensurate with international safety standards.

Al - Ahli Hospital recently held a “nutrition day” as part of its programmes to increase awareness in society on health issues. The two-day activities included a series of workshops and lectures on the benefits of healthy food.

لأول مرة في المستشفى الاهلي عملية استبدال الشريان الاورطي البطنيى

أجرى الدكتور عاطف بن يوسف استشارى جراحة القلب والاوعوية الدموية  في المستشفي الاهلى الاثنين الاسبوع الماضي اول عملية جراحية من نوعها تحصل في المستشفى الاهلى و هي استبدال للشريان الآورطى البطنى لرجل يبلغ من العمر سبعة و ستين عاما و هذا الشريان هو اكبر شريان في جسم الانسان و هو شريان الحياة حيث يحمل هذا الشريان المسمي بالأبهري الدم الذى تشبع حديثا بالأكسجين من القلب إلى الأسفل مرورا بالصدر و البطن، قبل أن يقوم بتوزيعه على الشرايين الآخرى في جسم الانسان .
