Al-Ahli Hospital commences Medical Tests on behalf of Medical Commission

Certain categories of employees permitted to utilize Private Hospitals
 
Al-Ahli Hospital has commenced with conducting Medical Tests for newly arriving expatriates, as part of the Medical Commission's pilot project to allow Private Hospitals to perform the testing.  This service will be provided every Sunday to Thursday, 8am until 4:30pm.
 
Speaking about the process, Dr. Abdul Azim Abdul Wahab Hussain, Medical Director of Al-Ahli Hospital stated, “We welcome expatriates who wish to avail this service at Al-Ahli Hospital.  Our aim will be to provide a highly proficient and professional process.  The estimated time required for completion of registration, Laboratory, Radiology, and clinical examination is approximately 45 to 60 minutes.  All applicants are requested to arrange prior appointments by calling our hospital Medical Commission Test Hotline numbers at 4489 8474.”
 
“The Medical Commission has permitted over 250 job categories where the incumbents are allowed to utilize private facilities for tests essential to the visa processing.  Payment is required to be made by credit card only.  Appointments for the Medical Tests, must be made by the appropriate company representative and applicants cannot directly contact the Hospital.  In connection with the appointment, the company representative must bring a copy of the visa and passport of the applicant,” he added.
 
Dr. Mobin Abdulla, Medical Administrator of Al-Ahli Hospital, said, “Reports will be issued to applicants within 2 days through a dedicated reception.  Failed medical reports will be sent directly to the Medical Commission.  We will allow 100 applicants per day, as per the upper limit set by the Medical Commission.  The charges for the Medical Tests begin at QR 750.  Please call our hotlines for further details.”
