Al-Ahli Hospital starts accepting female expatriates for Medical Commission Tests

Male and female expatriates arriving in Qatar now eligible to visit Al-Ahli Hospital for Medical Commission Tests

Following the recent directive to allow Al-Ahli Hospital to start accepting male individuals for medical tests, this service has now been extended to newly-arrived female employees.

Explaining the operational process of these tests, Dr. Abdul Azim Abdul Wahab Hussain, Medical Director of Al-Ahli Hospital said, “The Medical Commission Tests required for newly-arrived expatriates primarily includes Radiological & Laboratory tests followed by a simple medical examination.  Until recently, these tests were only carried out at the headquarters of the Medical Commission.  The Medical Commission have allowed Al-Ahli Hospital to accept male expatriates and have now given permission to also accept newly arrived female employees who fall under the list of designations permitted by the Medical Commission.”

“We have received a good response from newly-arrived expatriates who fall under the category approved by the Medical Commission to get the tests performed at Al-Ahli Hospital. These tests were taking approximately about 60 minutes, but by putting efficient systems in place, the entire job can be completed in 30 to 40 minutes,” added Dr. Abdulazim.

Dr. Mobin Abdulla, Medical Administrator and In-Charge of the Medical Commission Test Unit at Al-Ahli Hospital stated, “Our Medical Commission office is open from Sunday to Thursday and will begin from 8am to 4:30 pm.  All applicants are requested to make prior appointments by calling our hospital Medical Commission Tests Hotline numbers on 44898292 or 55087832.  Inquiries will also be received on the same number.”

“Normal reports are given within 2 days and failed medical reports will be sent directly to the medical commission,” added Dr. Mobin Abdulla.
