Al-Ahli Hospital will soon launch an In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Laboratory to help women who cannot conceive both from Qatar and the entire Middle East.

 

The new IVF Center in Al-Ahli Hospital will be led by the renowned Dr. Nabil Tarazi, who has been instrumental in opening six such centers in the Middle East.  He will be visiting Al-Ahli Hospital from 24 until 28 October 2010.

 

Dr. Tarazi is the Founder Director of the Arab Center of Fertility and Genetics – one of the famous centers in Amman, Jordan, with excellent pregnancy rates that are comparable to well-known centers in Europe and the USA.  Additionally, he is also a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in London and completed his sub-specialty in infertility and IVF from the prestigious Hammersmith Hospital and Imperial College in London.  Dr. Tarazi also held posts as President of the Jordanian Fertility Society, Secretary General of Arab Federation of Fertility Societies (AFFS) and is the President elect of AFFS.

Explaining the different procedures that will be performed at Al-Ahli Hospital, Dr. Tarazi said, “We will offer most of the services in infertility, including: Infertility clinic which will provide comprehensive treatment for all cases of infertility in both women and men, male infertility: Semen analysis and all kinds of male problems, ovulation induction, conventional IVF, Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Intrauterine Insemination(IUI), Percuteanous Epidydimal Sperm Aspiration (PESA), Testicular Sperm Aspiration or Extraction (TESA), Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA), Assisted Hatching (AS) to improve implantation, Blastocyst Transfer to select the best embryos, and Freezing of sperm and embryos using vetrification protocols.”
