Work Experience:
Dr. Nasser Gamal graduated from the prestigious Faculty of Medicine, Ain-shams University, Cairo, Egypt, where he joined as a postgraduate and completed his M.Sc. then M.D. degree in orthopaedics and skeletal trauma surgery. During that time he performed research work on cartilage graft and biomechanics of hip fractures fixation. He worked in the Teaching hospitals and Institutes as specialist, lecturer and consultant of Orthopedic. He actively participated in the training, research and teaching programs in this Organization for more than 10 years.
Also he worked in Hamad Medical Corporation for about 14 years. He was the team leader for the Scoliosis and spinal deformities program for about 8 years. He participated in many complicated major spinal surgeries with many well-known international spinal scoliosis surgeons from UK, Germany & France.
He also participated in some research projects in collaboration with Qatar University.
He has many publications in international periodicals particularly in the field of spine, trauma and joint replacement. He also participated as speaker in many international and regional conferences and he attended many courses, workshops and symposia in the spine surgery and minimal invasive spinal procedures all over the world.
He worked as visiting fellow in spine centers in USA, Canada, Switzerland, France & Germany and he participated in spinal surgery there.
